As your representative and first responder/firefighter for the city of Woonsocket, I am deeply committed to advocating for our veterans and first responders who have dedicated their lives to serving our country and communities. These brave men and women have selflessly put themselves in harm's way to protect our freedoms and keep us safe, and it is our duty to ensure they receive the support and resources they deserve.

I am a staunch proponent of comprehensive veteran services and initiatives. I believe in strengthening the Department of Veterans Affairs to ensure timely access to quality healthcare, mental health services, and support for our veterans transitioning to civilian life. I will fight to expand job training and employment opportunities for veterans, as well as enhance educational benefits and access to affordable housing.

Our first responders play a critical role in maintaining public safety and preserving our way of life. With 17 years of experience as

a first responder myself, I understand the challenges and sacrifices they face. I am dedicated to advocating for their needs, including fair compensation, access to adequate resources, and support for their physical and mental well-being. I will work tirelessly to ensure that our police officers, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel have the tools and training they need to effectively carry out their duties.

In addition, I am a strong proponent of legislation that protects, honors and supports our first responders.

This includes advocating for measures that enhance safety protocols, improve communication systems, and provide appropriate legal protections.

Our veterans and first responders deserve our utmost respect, gratitude, and support. I am committed to being their unwavering advocate in securing the benefits, services, and recognition they have earned through their service. Together, we can honor their sacrifice and ensure they receive the care and support they need to thrive.

Along with my legislative partners in 2014, Representative Robert Phillips and Representative Michael Morin, we secured a legislative grant to assist in the building of United Veterans Armed Services Memorial Park on Davison Street in Woonsocket.

In 2015, I had the privilege to salute our veterans by leading them in the singing of our national anthem onboard the Honor Flight trip to view their monument in Washington D.C. It was truly an unforgettable moment and a small way of saying thank you to our veterans.
